It’s not hard to find examples of how well Kevin Durant has fit in with the Warriors. His raw stats of 25.1 points, 8.3 rebounds, 4.8 assists and 1.6 blocks per game with incredible efficiency across the board during the regular season are probably the best place to start. Then perhaps his on-off numbers — the Warriors were 8.3 points per 100 possessions better with him on the court compared to him being on the bench — as well as more advanced stats such as offensive win shares (8.0) and defensive win shares (4.0). Either way, it’s clear Durant has made a team fresh off winning an NBA record 73 games a whole lot scarier on both ends of the floor.
That leads to this situation, with Curry setting a screen on him in the pick-and-roll:
Kyrie Irving was nothing short of heroic Friday night. The often undervalued point guard scored 40 points with seven 3-pointers. Irving also hauled in seven rebounds. After missing all seven of his 3-point shots in Game 3, Irving was confident and crafty in Game 4.
LeBron James was dominant on both ends of the court. Offensively, he directed the offense by making a number of outside shots and setting up open looks for teammates. After scoring 31 points with 11 assists and 10 rebounds, he broke and NBA Finals record with his ninth triple-double. Magic Johnson had eight.

It’s hard to know what to make of Ford at this point. He played just a bit role his first two years, before Justin Houston’s knee injury opened up a chance for more playing time. For half of the 2016 season, Ford looked like a breakout star, racking up 10 sacks in the first nine games. However, a hamstring injury slowed him down, and he never got another sack the rest of the season. Maybe he’ll be more productive when healthy next year, but Ford has yet to put together a complete season. Grade: B-
